What we measure for every visitor

To learn which tools are useful and what to improve, Imavo keeps its own anonymous usage statistics. Nothing is stored on your device for this.

• Pages and tools you open, and how long you actively use them
• How many images you add and export, their file type, dimensions and size, and the tool settings used
• Errors, so we can fix them
• How you reached Imavo: the referring website and any campaign tags in the link
• Your country, device type, browser, operating system and language

To group the pages of one visit, our server combines your IP address and browser with a random value that is replaced every day and then deleted. The resulting code can't be traced back to you or linked across days. Your IP address itself is never stored.

If you choose "Allow"

With your permission, Imavo saves a random ID in your browser's local storage. It lets us see when you come back on another day, and nothing else. It is not shared with anyone. We ask again after 13 months, and you can change your mind at any time. Choosing "No thanks" deletes the ID from your browser.

Where the data goes

Statistics are stored in our own database at Cloudflare, our hosting provider, inside the European Union. We use no third-party analytics or advertising services, and we don't sell or share this data. Records are deleted automatically after 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask us about the data we hold, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its use, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Because anonymous statistics can't be linked to you, we can usually only act on data tied to a remembered browser ID.
